Accumulation Vessel

Steven Sales

The vessel is made of stoneware and wild clay glaze foraged by the artist from Ashtons Meadows in the UK.

This vessel explores the playful properties of clay. The vessel is created using coiling and slab building techniques over several days. The stalactite fronds are built up over time by layering liquid clay.
