Soil glass

Fabienne Schneider

This glass is made of sodocalcium glass.

This glass is inspired by the soil. Glassblower Fabienne Schneider dug a hole in the ground and blew the hot glass directly into it, trusting that the structure of the soil would shape the hot glass in the most peculiar ways. Because the soil nourishes us, it made sense that this piece would become a drinking glass.
